Today, in the 53rd episode of "Ecologia Podcast," we are honored to have Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qahwaji, an expert in civil society and environmental work in Libya. We will discuss with him the reality of environmental work in Libya, especially in light of administrative, political, and environmental challenges. We will talk about the importance of environmental awareness, the role of local associations in preserving biodiversity, and how Libyan youth can contribute more significantly to environmental protection.

We will focus particularly on the successful experiences of environmental NGOs in Libya and the opportunities available to enhance environmental work through local and international cooperation. Additionally, we will discuss national strategies for biodiversity protection and the role of civil society in achieving these strategies.

As a reminder, this episode is part of a series focusing on the environmental civil society in North Africa, supported by the "Mubadarat" program led by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
